Dear Mike,

How are you? I’m fine. It was really nice to hear from you. I’m not sure this is the right address, so I hope it reaches you. The only change recently is that there’s a new girl sharing my flat with me. Her name’s Beth and she’s told me so many bad things about meat that I’ve decided to be vegetarian, too.

Anne came to visit last week. She’s got a job with a gas company in Liverpool and she’s looking for a flat there. I quite envy her, I’m still working at the bank.

I still hear from Peter. He’s leaving London next year to work in Tenerife, and he’s just started taking Spanish lessons. He’s still at the same London address, and wants you to write.

Please write back. I’d love to hear from you. Send your wife my love. I hope she’s well.
